What happens when 70,000 people gather together in Texas in July? Heat. That’s exactly what happened Saturday for the Fort Worth’s Fourth celebration at Panther Island Pavilion. As sponsor of the EECU Skybox, your credit union kept things cool for attendees who were treated to much-needed relief from the 90-degree temperature.

EECU awards $30,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors

Thursday evening, EECU announced the 2015 Glenn Mandeville Memorial Scholarship winners at its annual shareholders meeting. The program, which was founded to honor long-time Fort Worth educator and former EECU board member Glenn Mandeville, awards six $5,000 academic scholarships to deserving students each year – three students pursuing education and three pursuing other fields of study. 2014 Annual Food Drive benefiting Tarrant Area Food Bank
Tarrant Area Food Bank provides nearly 2 million meals each month across 12 counties surrounding Fort Worth through the donations of generous people and businesses. EECU supports this cause each year through a food drive.
Now through December 18, bring non-perishable food items to any EECU branch to donate to our annual food drive. All donations will be delivered to Tarrant Area Food Bank immediately following the drive, and we want to wow them with the generosity of our donors.
