Fort Worth-based credit union EECU officially celebrated the opening of its newest branch at Alliance Town Center Oct. 6 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The branch, located at 3451 Texas Sage Trail in the quickly growing Hillwood development, serves the North Fort Worth community as the credit union’s 14th Dallas-Fort Worth area location.

The ribbon cutting brought together officials from EECU, State Representative Matt Krause, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and leaders from Keller Independent School District and Northwest Independent School District, as well as members of the community to dedicate the branch, meet the staff and tour the facilities.

“EECU is pleased to join the Alliance Town Center, one of the area’s most active business and residential districts,” said Lonnie Nicholson, EECU president and CEO. “While we have served thousands of area residents for years, this new branch allows a venue to better serve the needs of members and community partners.”

The grand opening festivities will continue the week of Oct. 19-24 as EECU continues to welcome North Fort Worth residents into the branch. Members who complete a transaction at the branch during the week will be automatically entered to win a personal Sentry® safe during a daily giveaway. The credit union will also welcome residents to shred up to two boxes of their personal documents on Saturday, Oct. 24. Events are designed not only to showcase the new branch capabilities, but also to help residents manage their finances and better protect their personal information.

The Alliance Town Center branch offers complimentary Wi-FI, video conferencing, convenient drive-thru lanes and ATM access. EECU also provides members 5,000 branch network locations and 55,000 free ATMs nationwide, as well as online and mobile resources to access accounts 24/7, anywhere in the world.

  1. Please open a new branch in the Northeast Tarrant area, preferably in north Bedford or Grapevine/Colleyville. A prime location would be in the shopping centers close to the intersection of Glade Road and Hwy 121.

    • Thanks for the recommendation, Jedda! We’ll certainly keep that area in mind. Until then, it looks like that location is right in between our Southlake, Hurst and Watauga locations, so we hope you find one of those convenient when you’re running errands or need to visit us.
