Six ways to save with EECU Online Banking

Posted on by

At EECU, we’re committed to your financial success. That’s why we offer affordable products and services along with financial tools to help you reach your goals. To make things even easier, we’ve included several useful tools in Online Banking to help you keep track of your money.

Track your spending with FinanceWorks™

EECU’s Online Banking comes with money management software built in. With the FinanceWorks™ dashboard, you can monitor all your checking, savings, credit card and loan accounts, whether they’re with EECU or another institution. You can also track your spending and set up a budget to make sure you know where your money is going each month.

Find It: Manage Money > Account Overview

Pay your bills automatically

Late bill payments often require that you pay a fee, and some may even affect your credit score or interest rates. Make sure your bills are paid on time by taking advantage of Bill Pay in Online Banking. Set up your automatic payments or schedule them months in advance.

Find It: Select “Bill Pay” from the navigation bar.

Accept your Purchase Rewards offers

Receive cash back for shopping at your favorite retailers. View your Purchase Rewards offers in Online Banking, select the ones you would like to activate, make your purchase and automatically receive cash deposited back into your account at the end of the month. Offers are updated regularly, so check back often in Online Banking or your mobile app to see your new offers.

Find It: View your offers in the Purchase Rewards panel under “My Accounts.”

Make transfers with Popmoney®

You can pay your babysitter, friends or anyone else easily with a secure Popmoney® transfer. Simply enter your recipient’s email address or phone number, and they will receive a message prompting them to enter their account information to deposit a payment. Standard transfers are free, or choose Express Delivery to have the funds delivered the next business day for a nominal fee. You can also send a payment request to a contact to get paid for services you’ve provided a friend.

Find It: Move Money > External Transfer

Manage your alerts

If you don’t have time to check your account daily, you can still keep track of your account balance and avoid accidental overdrafts. When you register for e-alerts, you can opt to receive a text message or email when transactions of a certain size clear your account or when your balance falls below a certain amount. You can also have your account balance sent to you weekly.
